Steph Jones

Sports Therapist

Steph is a third-year Sport and Exercise Science student with a clear passion for sports massage and athletic recovery. Alongside her academic studies, she competes in long jump at both national and international level, giving her first-hand experience of the physical demands placed on the body through high-intensity training and competition.

Through both her degree and her own athletic journey, Steph has developed a clear understanding of how effective recovery strategies support performance, reduce injury risk and promote long-term physical health. She understands what it feels like when the body isn’t working as it should — and just how important the right intervention can be at the right time.

Her background allows her to combine academic knowledge with real-world, practical insight. This blend means she doesn’t just treat the problem in front of her, but looks deeper to understand why it happened in the first place — an approach that sits perfectly at the heart of Myokinetics.

Steph is highly motivated to pursue sports massage as a career due to its direct impact on recovery and performance. Trained here at Myokinetics, she has gained the skills and understanding needed to support clients effectively, and is keen to continue developing both her own practice and the Myo brand as it grows.

She’s genuinely excited to be part of the team — helping people move better, recover faster, and stay active for the long term.
